BipartiVox is a free service without ads, operated by an individual, Samuel Boudet. Samuel's primary occupation is a researcher in signal processing and AI for medicine. He does not derive income from this site apart from potential donations. The main objective of BipartiVox is to promote the bipartisan/range voting method. While individuals can test this method, it's primarily designed for entities like associations, businesses, employee representative committees, political parties, and other organized groups.

B. Data Collection:

We collect your email, timezone, preferred language, votes for different elections, and participation status in any election. By using BipartiVox, you consent to the collection, storage, and use of your data as outlined in these terms.

C. Data Storage:

D. Data Security:

We utilize HTTPS for data transmission, hash passwords for security, verify emails, and use Docker to isolate services. However, there is for now no encryption at rest for the votes. Samuel Boudet is the data controller for BipartiVox and is responsible for processing user data.

E. Data Access and Integrity:

BipartiVox administrators set voter pseudonyms by default to a censored email (e.g., f*****g.n*****h[at]gmail.com). Anyone with an election link can check the voter list and their voting status. We urge election administrators to avoid using identifiable data, as we can't guarantee that election tokens won't be publicly shared. Revealing the voter list is essential for election integrity verification. Only the BipartiVox administrator can view detailed voting information for technical maintenance purposes only.

F. Google Login:

We offer a Google login option, fetching only your email.

G. Liability:

We take precautions but cannot guarantee complete data security. Use BipartiVox at your own risk. In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach.

H. User Rights:

You can request account deletion or vote anonymization. However, votes once cast cannot be deleted. Users have the right to access, rectify, and delete their data, among other rights as specified by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For concerns, contact: admin[at]bipartivox.com.

I. Data Retention:

We retain user data indefinitely, but you can request its deletion at any time.
